NorthPoint Pets was founded 7 years ago to tackle an unmet need for real, unfiltered, unbiased information regarding the care, feeding and behavioral drivers of dogs and cats. Our owner and Chief Science Officer, Nicole Cammack, rescued a Dog named Taser who was kept in a basement cage for the first five months of his life. He had a lot of issues stemming from fear and lack of socialization on top of multiple medical issues. When she searched for resources about food, medications and routines that could help him, she was met with a wall of corporate jargon and generic solutions to ‘pet care.’ With NorthPoint Pets, it became her mission to provide helpful information, realistic recommendations and educate others about the unique challenges that our pets may face, and supply useful solutions. Pet parents need a reliable resource that doesn’t judge or try to sell based on profit, and that’s what NorthPoint Pets is. We always recommend what is right, even if it is something we don’t sell.
